Admission of “Green Cards” and Visas for entry as “Tourist” or “Business Travelers” for passport holders of India, the Dominican Republic, and the People’s Republic of China

The Argentine Republic will accept U.S. permanent residency cards (Green Cards) and B1/B2, B2, J, B1, O, P (P1, P2 and P3), E and H-1B visas as sufficient documentation to enter Argentina under the “Tourist” category for holders of passports from India, the Dominican Republic, and the People’s Republic of China and “Business Visitors” for the People’s Republic of China.

Through this regulatory update, the Argentine Republic recognizes permanent resident cards and certain United States visas as alternative documentation to an Argentine visa, with the purpose of simplifying immigration procedures, facilitating the entry of travelers, and promoting commercial and tourism ties, while maintaining high security standards.
