Visa for those entering the Argentine Republic to perform paid or unpaid activities, for up to 30 days, in the scientific, professional, technical, or artistic fields. This category also includes students and those participating in conferences or fairs.

Visas in this category can be processed at any Consular Representation of the Argentine Republic. If you choose the Argentine Consulate in Atlanta, please follow these instructions:

Requirements

1. 2025 Visa Application Form original signed by the applicant
2. A passport-style photo, front-facing with a white background.
3. A copy of the first page of the passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country, and with at least one blank page (two sides) available.
4. A copy of the U.S. visa or “Green Card,” for non-U.S. citizens.
5. Invitation Letter
6. Proof of activity related to the requested visa (work, study, or other), as applicable. For example, via a letter signed by a recognized authority from the company/institution.
7. Requirements and Conditions Consent Form completed and signed
8. Consular interview.

The consular authority may request supplementary or additional documentation, as deemed necessary, before or after the scheduled appointment at the consulate.

How to schedule an interview appointment

• You can request an appointment via email at visas_catla@mrecic.gov.ar or by postal mail to our offices, attaching copies of all the documentation listed in the Requirements.If you send them by email make sure to send them in one single pdf file, no larger than 4MB.
• The interview will only be scheduled once all documents have been received and reviewed, and according to available appointment slots.
• All information sent via email must be printed and presented in original form and in the order described in this form at the time of the interview to avoid rescheduling your appointment.

Cost

• Consular fee: $200. Instructions will be sent for making a deposit at the bank.
• You may pay an urgent processing fee of $40 to have your application processed the same day, depending on availability – Please inquire about this option.

IMPORTANT

1. Failure to submit all requested documentation and information in original form will result in the cancellation of the appointment, which will be rescheduled for a later date once all required documentation has been received and reviewed and will be subject to availability.
2. COMPLYING WITH THE MENTIONED REQUIREMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE VISA APPROVAL, AS THIS IS A SOLE PREROGATIVE OF THE ARGENTINE STATE.
3. Please note that, depending on availability, the visa process could take up to 6 to 8 weeks after the interview.
