Argentine citizens residing abroad can obtain birth, marriage, or death certificates issued in the Argentine Republic. In Argentina, each province has its own Civil Registry. The Consulate does not process these certificates, which must be requested by the interested party directly from the Civil Registry corresponding to the place where the event (birth, marriage, death) occurred.
You may request it in the following ways:
- Through a relative in Argentina who appears in person at the Civil Registry of the corresponding province
- Through a private agent
