Entry and Exit of Minors

ENTER ARGENTINA WITH A MINOR


Minors of 13 years of age of any nationality who are travelling unaccompanied or without their parents or legal guardians require:

  1. A travel authorization:
  •  "Venia de Viaje" issued by the Argentine Consulate, or
  • Alternatively, a travel authorization signed before a notary public and legalized with the Hague Apostille. NOTE: if it is not written in spanish, the authorization must be translated by an official argentine public translator and certified by the "Colegio de Traductores Publicos de la Republica Argentina".
  1. Minor's Birth Certificate (if not issued by Argentine authorities, certificate must have the Apostille attached)
  2. Valid Passport or travel document

All documentation must be presented in original. 

 

EXIT ARGENTINA WITH A MINOR

Minors of 18 years of age, of any nationality, whose legal residence is in Argentina are who are travelling without both parents, in order to exit the country require:

  1. A travel authorization: "Venia de Viaje" issued by the Argentine Consulate
  2. Minor's Birth Certificate (if not issued by Argentine authorities, certificate must have the Apostille attached)
  3. Valid Passport or travel document
